T'au Sept

The warriors which comes from T'au are known as wise and experienced troops, coming from the original Tau explorers who fought the first battles during the initial expansion phase of the Tau Empire. T'au is also the template upon which newly founded colonies are based. The battlesuit combat techniques in use on many new Tau worlds are the same as those practised by those from T'au. Their warriors tend to forgo the ability to target multiple enemies, concentrating instead on utterly destroying a single unit before moving on to the next. This way they achieve maximum destructive efficiency. They are aware that by using the same or similar tactics, their enemy may be able to overcome them, but they are loath to change them. Their warriors spend evenings planning in detail the next days' attacks and meditating on their lives in case they fall in battle

Coordinated Fire Arcs

Any unit with this tenet that fires Overwatch within 6" of another Tau Empire unit or triggers For The Greater Good hits on a 5+ rather than a 6+, ignoring Ballistic Skill or any modifiers. Makes charging Tau gunlines an even more daunting prospect.

Character traits of T'au Sept

Strength of Belief - Roll a D6 for each mortal wound inflicted on your Warlord; on a 5+, that mortal wound is ignored and has no effect.

3 CP Focused Fire- When a unit with the T'AU SEPT keyword inflicts an unsaved wound on an enemy in the shooting phase, add +1 to wound for all other shooting attacks made against that enemy by all Tau Empire models. Don't you just love being able to wound Knights on a 4+ with only basic infantry?
